i forgot my password a few times but its disconnected from WiFi and wont erase until connected. it wont let me swipe up to turn on my data or WiFi either. its really important at the moment so if anybody could help i would greatly appreciate it!

Erase your device with iTunes to remove your passcode
If you've synced your device with iTunes, you can restore your device. This will erase the device and its passcode.
Connect your device to the computer you synced with.
Open iTunes. If asked for a passcode, try another computer you've synced with, or use recovery mode.
You do not need to wait until its completely disabled, you can use recovery mode at any time. It will erase the iPhone entirely, so if you do not have a backup, your data will be lost.
Please read, and follow the steps in the support document carefully. It is the only way to remove the passcode at this point.

I would recommend just erasing the phone instead of waiting for it to become disabled for longer times.

You do not need to sync. Just restore the iPhone. Read the document please, and follow the steps in it.
I am not am not aware of a way to connect to wifi from the lock screen without control center available.
Can you explain what you mean by not fully disabled? Is there any message showing on your lock screen?
Also, did you try the recovery mode option listed in the article I linked to before?
how can i sync it if i cannot get into my phone
i am aware that if i continue to guess my password incorrectly that it will be fully disabled saying on the lock screen "connect to itunes", however i am one or two incorrect guesses from that. i am not completely sure what to do if it gets to that stage. right now, if i guess my password incorrect it is disabled for an hour. if i keep guessing wrong for the "connect to itunes" what should i do then? would it be easier?
yes i have tried that before but for some reason it didnt work and just turned my phone off, when i turned it back on it was disabled again.
any suggestions on what to do?
