Larger Phone Call/Dial Keypad, Standard or Zoomed

The phone call/dial keypad (the circles with numbers) got bigger. Is it because of the new update iOS 12.1.1? My settings under 'Display Zoom' has always been 'standard' since I got the phone because I prefer smaller icons, texts, and keypad. I aso tried the 'zoomed' and it's good for those who have vision issues, but it's definitely not for me. However, with 'standard,' the size of the keypad has always been smaller before, and I would like to simply keep it that way.

Super Zoom Several times a week my iPhone X (iOS 15.1) goes into what I can only describe as super zoom. The screen is so zoomed in that I can't zoom out. If I press volume & side buttons to shut down, everything is so zoomed in that I can't navigate to the power off button to shut down. I have been using the method of (1) pressing one volume key; then (2) pressing the other volume key; then (3) pressing & holding the side key until the phone shuts off. This is a pain and it sometimes takes several tries to get this to work, but eventually it does. Any ideas on how I am getting into the super zoom mode? Or is this a bug?

Control center scaling - iOS 14.3 in iPhone 6s As the title indicates, the recent iOS 14.3 update makes the icons on the control center uncomfortably big. It is not optimized for the smaller screen in this model. Is there any way to adjust this feature?
