Question on 64 bit process

It's interesting but strange to note that Office 2008 works with Mojave but Office 2011 evidently does not.

I say 2008 works because I and using it with Mojave, at least the basic Word, Excel and PowerPoint features. As for 2011 all of the repots here indicated that it doesn't work with Mojave.

Not for Mojave. 64bit only comes with the next version of macOS.

It is my understanding that Office 2011 does indeed work with Mojave. I have not heard of any reports to the contrary.

BTW, your version of Office may not be compatible with Mojave

for other reasons.. Check and make sure that it is.

What version of MS Office did you have currently?

It would help if you identified your version of Microsoft Office. Office 2016 is 64 bit.

You might check to see if LibreOffice will satisfy your needs instead of MS Office.

I may have misread or misunderstood those other topics. That certainly says it's compatible. I'll try to confirm one way or the other so I don't make that mistake again. Thanks for the feedback.

FWIW, I would say roaringapps isn't always reliable and some features of Office 2011 may work and others may not. I don't use any version of Office myself to say.

Maybe not, but who wants to install an old copy of Office 2011 to check it out. From what I've heard, both Office 2008 and 2011 work with Mojave.
