I just bought a used ipod touch, and I think it has been reset. All it has when you power it on is an iTunes symbol with a charging cord with an arrow pointing to itunes. Is there a way I can set it up and put music on it without a computer? I'm not sure which generation ipod it is.

Okay thank you. Does the computer need to have iTunes on it in order for me to set it up, or can I just hook it directly up and start setting it up?
Well I have a computer, but it's messed up and not working properly.
Yes it needs iTunes. You could borrow a friend’s or make an appointment at an apple store or authorized service provider and have them help you
