Updating iPad

I need to update my iPad, but getting a message on my Desktop computer that there are purchased items on my iPad that have not been transferred to my iTunes library, and I need to do that first. How do I go about finding these items and transferring them?

iPad Pro 11-inch Wi-Fi, Cellular

File > Devices > Transfer Purchases should copy them over
