cannot see ANY whatsapp contact pictures

WhatsApp displays my chats but only the name, no picture icon shown. If I open that chat then I can see my contact’s picture (they have not blocked me), but if I get out again to the list of chats I do not see an icon. How do I fix this problem?

MacBook Air (2018 or later)

You fix it by contacting whatsapp or looking at their support site, since you're using their app.

Im afraid your phone’s device too full..so that it’s can’t show the picture perfect. Let’s try to delete something. If it’s not full let’s try to restart your phone.
