Location of Apple Watch on wrist

They say for accurate measurement to put the watch on the top of the wrist. Is that the inside of the wrist as one looks at it, or on the top of the arm? Also, how close to the wrist joint should it be?

Thanks. As my long sleeve interferes with seeing the watch while I walk, will it record accurately if it is positioned closer to the hand, on the other side of the knuckle? In the alternative, would it record more accurately on the inside of the wrist (Open palm side)? If so, is it better to have it on the hand side of the knuckle or away from the hand on the other side of the knuckle? I ask because it is actually more comfortable for me having the watch on the inside of the wrist (open palm side). I’ve worn a watch on that side of my wrist for years.
