Mojave incomplete installation

Hi everyone, after some fantastic help from Apple, a friend suggested downloading and installing Mojave. This was all going well until visitors arrived earlier than expected. I had to turn MacBook Pro off but it hadn’t quite finished installing. Now it doesn’t finish the installation. MacBook Pro, retina 13 inch, previous OS was High Sierra and its an early 2015 model. Is there a way to either finish the installation or return to High Sierra.

Hold down option + command + r and then when the Mac shows OS X utility, just select reinstall Mac OS and follow the prompts.

hi miyalung, tried several times but just keeps optimising, I will format , partition and reinstall High Sierra if someone can help with that. Just want MacBook Pro back working.
