iTunes Error message

When I sync both my iPhone and iPad, I sometime get an error message that reads: The iPhone (iPad) can not be synced. An unknown error occured. (-54)

Anyone have an idea what this is, and what I can do to get rid of it?

See If you see error -54 when you sync with iTunes - Apple Support.
