Power Issue:: Apple Display A1316

Dear All, Need someone to guide me through this issue.

  1. The screen does not power on, in case I do not power it off the previous night
  2. The fuse stays good, it has an online UPS, the electrical supply and voltage is perfect
  3. As a precaution, I have replaced the power cable and also the connecting cable to the MacPro.

Query: Is it mandatory to power the monitor off every night?

Please advise

Smiles,

Vikas

The poster did identify the display as a A1316. That is a 27 inch LED screen connected via mini displayport.

Does the display have this problem when connected to another computer?

When it does not start look at the screen with a flashlight. Maybe the backlight is not coming on.

There has been problems with the backlight and power supply on that model display
