Fox News streaming live not working on AppleTV

I'm trying to set-up a new AppleTV 4K as a gift for someone and I installed Fox News on it. The app works except that it doesn't work when trying to play it live, even after I linked my xfinity account on it. I get a message saying that my provider does not allow the content (or something similar). Xfinity says it is a problem with the AppleTV and not them. Anyone have this?
