When I click to download Pages documents, I get a "file does not exist" message

My iCloud is turned on. I have the Pages App on my phone and there are several document thumbnails with orange clouds and "down" arrows beside them. When I click to download them though, I get a, "file does not exist" message. They don't show up in Pages on my desktop either. How do I retrieve those documents?

Hello CupcakeWriter,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to access some Pages files on your iPhone, and these files don't show on your Mac. To help with your situation, please check iCloud.com for these files and other steps from this Apple resource on issues with iCloud Drive:
