Suspicious email from “Apple” about an in-App purchase

I received a suspicious confirmation email yesterday about an in-App purchase for $44.99 that I did not make. Looks like a gaming thing? “MOBILE LEGENDS”??? I’m NOT a gamer...so there is no way this is mine. There is a link to ‘cancel’ but that looks shady too. I don’t know who to contact or what to do. I’m pretty confident it is some type of scam. But want to make sure that someone didn’t somehow hack my credit card info from my Apple ID and I actually get charged for this.

SCARY!

There are lots of phishing emails doing the rounds. Genuine emails will contain your billing address from your account, not contain spelling or grammar errors etc.

Apple will always address you by your name or the name they have on file for you, not Dear Customer, Dear Client or by using your e-mail address.  The e-mail will be from @apple.com or @iTunes.com. E-mail addresses can be spoofed. You can go to Mail/View/Message/Show all Headers to see more. Apple e-mails will never contain an attachment. Apple will never request personal information such as Social Security numbers.

The only exception to the above I have noticed is if you order something from the Apple Store (apple.com), your receipt will be addressed to Dear Apple Customer. That is a receipt for a purchase you initiated.
