iPad Pro pdf viewer not working

Hi guys, I have the new iPAD pro. At work I received a PDF file with drawings (vectorized). Every time I open the files through the email app or with files the preview shows a blurred image and the the app partially freezes. Meaning I cant zoom or edit the pdf, I also cant go back, but for example I can export the file.

The problem does not happen with other PDF files, only this one that are vectorized.

This is new as this was working fine before so it is very strange.

I would appreciate any help...

Install another PDF viewing App - there are many to choose from in the Apple App Store - Adobe’s basic functionality is free.

You will be able to open the PDF file directly from your email - simply touch-and-hold the attachment, then choose the App that that you want to open the attachment. Hopefully, your issue is simply incompatibility with the native PDF viewer within iOS.

Yes, I sympathise, but sometimes we come across anoyances with our favourite technology. iOS12 has plenty!

Levity aside, PDF files can contain many elements that might not be supported by native features of iOS - or for that matter, any other platform or reader software. Sometimes, advanced file-types require advanced software to read or access all features of a document. As described, I believe you’ve come across one of those files...

Hi LotusPilot, yes I do have several other PDF readers. The problems is that it gets annoying when selecting files in the files app or not been able to see a file in email directly. Specially because this used to work perfectly in the past.

The thing Is that I deal with this type of files all the time and never before had a problem. In the past the iPad would manage this with no problems.

So even though I can work around this problem with other apps I would like to find out if this is an iPad or iOS problem and if anyone has been able to find a solution.
