Download app purchased from iPad on Macbook

I couldn't find how to download the app on Mac that I bought it on iPad. On Mac App store, it looks like I have to purchase the app again. Anyway to download this app on my Mac without paying it again?

MacBook Air (2018 or later)

The apps for the iPad are not compatible with the Mac. If you need the Mac version, you will need to purchase it separately.
