Does the new iPad Pro 2018 bend easily? I wish to buy the 11 inch model but I am fearful of it bending over time especially for a $800 device.

Due to the recent evidence of the new iPad Pro's bending very easily, is it something of concern? Will there be a recall? I wish to buy one however I do not want to spend over $800 for a pre-bent device.

iPads and iPad Pros are not for everyone.

My 1st gen, 2015, 12.9 inch screen iPad Pro is the 4th iPad I have owned.

I still really like my 3-year old iPad Pro and create with it everyday.

I use a different, 3rd party, smart Bluetooth stylus with mine.

I never cared for the original Apple Pencil, though.

iPads and, specifically, the iPad Pro meets/exceeds all my needs to a light, compact mobile tablet computer.

Customers either love and hate iPads.

Always best to purchase the right tool for your needs.

There are other alternative mobile tabket computers out there.

So, Good Luck to You!

I loved my 12.9 iPad Pro from the previous year, just wish I had not traded it though with this newer version being so flimsy. I always have protective case and screen protectors on every device I purchase day one, no matter what, but just really disappointed in the newest iPad so far, especially for the premium price tags attached to them. I guess I expected the products to be as premium as it’s price tag as they have been in the past, but feel that’s not the case with this product unfortunately.

Apple has reported that some shipments of 2018 iPad Pros may have a slight bend in them.

There is NO way to know how pervasive this announced “defect” will be and where these will wind up in the supply chain/store locations.

I would advise if you are planning to purchase a brand new, 2018 iPad Pro 3rd generation, that you open the box in the store and inspect the unit for this bend defect and ask for another unit until you get one without the bend.

I think Apple is going to wind up selling all these bent units as online refurb models to recoup some of the cost of this manufacturing flaw.

Potential iPad Pro customers paying full, expensive prices for Apple’s flagship iPad model are not going to put up with a flawed, sub-quality manufactured iPad.

No Way!

Also, once you get a new iPad Pro without the bend, stay in the store and setup tbis new iPad Pro in the store and make sure everything is functionng fine as some new customers are find hardware functionality issues with these iPad Pro models when they get them home for a couple/few days.

Good Luck to You!
