Can you use the 30w charger on an iPad mini 2

Yes, you can safely use Apple USB-C chargers, such as the 30W, with your iPad mini. Whilst you won’t benefit from fast-charging that USB-C PD chargers can provide, your iPad mini will simply charge at its own maximum charge rate at 5V.


You shoukd note that you will need an appropriate USB-C to Lighning cable to use the Apple 30W brick. The standard USB charger requires a USB Type-A to Lightning.
