migration question

Greetings. Just bought a new MacBook Pro and I’m trying to migrate from my Mid 2010 MacBook Pro.

I know doing it over WiFi is not optimum but I’m not concerned with that. What I would like to know is: how long should the part on the new one that says “checking iinami’s MacBook Pro” take?

It has been a while and I just want to know it’s not stuck. Thanks for any help.

Migration I am in the process of migrating my macbook air 2013 to a new macbook air. I had filled the 2013 model w/all 125gig. I started the migration at 2pm yesterday and it is still going now at 9am so that is 17 hours. Should it be take this long or is something wrong?

Sounds stuck. Try a cable connection.
