The Sims 4 minimum requirements state 4GB of RAM. So you should be able to play it. How well is a different question all together.

Unless budget is very tight, I would in all honesty try for at least 8GB of RAM on any Mac.

I would say DON'T buy it, 4 GB is not enough for most computers and the programs you want to use. Minimum you will need is 8 GB and ideal is 16 GB in a MacBook Pro.

4 GBs is not enough for most things. I would not recommend buying any computer with only 4 GBs of RAM.
