So I've been wondering if my pc with an APU could be connected to my iMac with Thunderbolt 2. I’m using a Ryzen 5 2400g and Asus prime b450m-a. So yeah which cable should I purchase??

No it doesn't support TDM Use your iMac as a display with Target Display Mode - Apple Support

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) and later iMac models can't be used as Target Display Mode displays.
And, on Macs that support it, Target Display Mode was only a Mac to Mac thing.
So not even the Thunderbolt 2 it has?
Does the 21'5 inch late 2015 iMac support Target Display Mode?
