Imovie 10.1.10 question marks

My Imovie is storing the imports from my phone, on my phone.

The only way the clips in my project are usable is if my iPhone is hooked up to computer. As soon as i disconnect it the clips go to question marks. I have tried re installing but iMovie thinks it has the videos already.


How do I get them stored in the iMac hard drives.

The question marks are happening because the photos have not been imported from your iPhone onto your Mac. You should be able to connect your iPhone to your Mac and import your clips into the Photos app. From there you can access them in iMovie via the Photos item in the iMovie media sidebar. Try doing that and see if it solves the problem.
