Has anybody noticed that suddenly iCal events from last month and further back are missing? I even found them missing on iCloud. The only events I can see as I go back are the reoccurring events. This appears to be on all my devices, iPhone 5S, iPad Pro and on my iMac. I have preferences set for these to sync All Events.

You may want to try and restore your calendar from a previous version of iCloud, then check if the events appear. The following support article will walk you through how to do so:
You can also follow the steps under "Reverse a restore" if the missing events do not appear. Let's also confirm your sync settings for the Calendar app on your iOS devices. Go to Settings > Calendar > Sync. Confirm there is a check next to the length of time you would like to sync events from. Let us know what happens from here.

That didn't really help I could only go back to the beginning of December for a restore date. It was at the beginning of December that I lost all the previous calendar data.
