Do you have a subscription to either Apple Music or iTunes Match? If not Siri can only play your purchased music, otherwise use Reset HomePod - Apple Support to set it up again.

  • Siri on HomePod should be able to play your purchased music if you have a standard account with iTunes.
  • Siri should be able to play your purchased music, matched, and uploaded tracks, and your playlists if you have the annual iTunes Match service which includes iCloud Music Library.
  • Siri should be able to play your purchased music, matched, and uploaded tracks, your playlists, and almost anything from the iTunes music catalogue if you have the monthly Apple Music service.
  • You can AirPlay audio content to HomePod from iTunes, Mac and iOS devices.
