Some musicXML file won't import

I have a couple of legit .mxl files that will not import into my logic project. I follow the process to import that usually works, but the tracks just don't show up:

  1. I'm looking for a way to view any info on the import process, like if there is a specific error or any other info
  2. Or, I would just like to be able to import them.
  3. If anyone is successful importing these files, let me know what you did, what version your using, etc... One example is the musicXML score available for public download at this web address: https://musescore.com/user/14702741/scores/5366781

MusicXML is a file specifically created to exchange data between music NOTATION applications. Logic is a DAW and reads standard XML that are based on MIDI data, not music notation data. Logic Pro X supports importing and exporting MusicXML files, but there may be something off with the files you're downloading. I've not fooled with MusicXML so I'm not sure what else to tell you.
