I would like to remove individual emojis from the Apple emoji keyboard.
How can I remove unwanted individual emojis?

As far as I know, that is not possible.
Probably never. Just like they don't let you delete letters from the alphabet.
I have a whole bunch of emojis I don’t use and it is cluttering up my ability to find the emoji I do use.
Even the recents area is cluttered with unwanted items if you don’t fill them up with “wanted” emojis.
You might see if there is a 3rd party keyboard in the app store which handles this the way you want.
When is Apple going to provide that option?
