I shoot with a Canon, and use an Ultra camera chip. It has worked fine for a year ++ (1000s of images). NOW it will NOT show up on the DT...not placed directly into the lap top, (either port), nor using an exterior card reader.
I have a MAC OS High Sierra version10.13.6 MacBook Pro (Retina, 13", early 2015)
NEED HELP to fix this?!? Thanks...(I refuse to buy a new MACBook Pro lap top...already replaced 2 of them!!)

Have you tried it in another computer? The issue is most likely to be with the card and not the computer.
Because they're cheap and low quality. Most can be fixed by reformatting them. This is done in your camera and takes 2 or 3 seconds. But it does wipe the photographs. So: try in another computer because sometimes that works. Then reformat. Or, more risky, reformat and then try recover the images with file recovery software.
As a general tip: rather than erasing the images from a card after importing them, reformat the card. it's faster and maintains the structure of the card going forward.
If it showed before in 10.13.6 then does the Camera still see & use it?
What is the "dt?"
In Finder, if you Go > Computer (cmd-shift-C), does it show up there?
Very unlikely it's fixable, you can try reformatting it in the Camera.
No...I haven't...but that sounds like it might just be the chip...BUT why do chips stop working completely, all of a sudden? Any way of fixing or "reprograming" the chip...? Thank YOU for your kindness! O, and Merry Christmas!!!
