All my problems seemed to occur when I was in Firefox, or switching too it. I turned off the Firefox setting "Use hardware acceleration when available" and my system has now been up for 32 days.

I mostly use Firefox on this machine.

I'm not sure if the problem is in Firefox, the graphics driver or hardware, or some interaction between them.
