Sorry, NFC is not supported by any models of iPad; native NFC capability/features are limited to newer models of iPhone only.
Many users, such as myself, would like to see NFC support being extended from iPhone to iPad for strong token authentication - such as Yubikey NFC. Whether we will ever see NFC in iPad is something that Apple have not shared with us. You can always give feedback to Apple via their feedback channel:
