iPhone XR CAMERA ISSUE - why is my iphone 7s camera better than the xr? is there any reason as to why thr iphone xrs camera is so blurry and not as sharp? why does tge xr lighten up and not darken in the shadows? this is so disappointing....

If you're not pleased, take it back for a refund.

Update: took my Xr to Apple and they told me nothing is wrong even after showing him how bad the pics are! He admitted the pics looked pixelated and blurry. He said it’s software and nothing they can do. Suggested just using portrait mode since that mode seems a little better. So I guess I’m stuck with a horrible camera unless all I want to do is take portrait pics. So frustrating!

I have exactly the same issue. Have upgrade from 7 plus to XR. But the camera is quite disappointing. The image is blur and the flash light is too short. Already upgraded to iOS 12.1.4. Is there any setting that I need to apply?

I replied on another post on this issue. I have the XR and love everything about the phone(especially battery) except the camera!!! My pics are blurry, pixelated and grainy! Is it software or the actual camera itself? I'm taking mine to the Apple Store next week but from reading other people's posts on here there's nothing they can do. Trying to decide if I should wait it out for software update or get something else. All I wanted was a good camera!

I'm facing same issue in XR ,upgraded from IPhone 7Plus and contacted service support they just tell me We know this Issue but till then nothing has come from Apple side.

I can also see this problem when trying to capture sunset photos. The light from the sun turns orange and difuse instead of clear and sharp : /

Just spotted this lately, if I plug a lightning cable in and press up or down on the cable head, it makes a clicking noise inside of the port. Are you experiencing the same ?

I have Ipjhone XR from november and I have no issues with the camera.Yesterday we made an test video while I submerged the XR in watter and the quality under watter is awsome too.

Hey Guys even i have upgraded from I phone SE and i have noticed Camera difference from Se to I phone Xr and even i have notices some display difference and i took my mobile to the store and i showed both the difference in the display aswellas camera and they aggred with that but as there is no manifacture defect in that they said that they can do nothing with that i am hopeless. Hope apple will fix this in coming Update.
