Saving pictures for free in the Cloud for free...using Google

I don’t want to pay even more for simply saving some photos in the iCloud ( my bill is high enough ) a tech at the Apple Stire told me of a way to save pics using Google. Does anyone know about how to do this? I am a not really tech savvy Mom that can follow instructions! Help🙏🏼

Iclound and photos Hi! I wonder how i can save my photos on icloud and then delete the photos in my cameraroll. I don't think it is necessary to pay 20$ for something that deletes everytime i delete a photo in my cameraroll.
