Where did my IMAP settings go?

I am experiencing some slowness in retrieving mail from Yahoo into High Sierra mail and wanted to check my IMAP settings to ensure I'm using the correct Yahoo server config. But when I go to the server settings tab of the Mail prefs Account tab there are no config fields showing -- for any of my mail accounts.

And (though I have no problem with sending) when I tried to look at the SMTP settings by hitting "edit the SMTP server list" the window pops up with an empty server list.

Same is true for all of my mail account setups.

How can I check what servers my IMAP and SMTP configurations are pointing to?

I forget which OS it changed in, but in 10.12.x, if you choose any of the given choices, Mail auto sets up servers & will not show important stuff in that tab...

Tried deleting and adding -- no change. It just doesn't show any of the IMAP configuration attributes for any of my 4 email accounts on the server tab.

I'm curious as to why you don't see that my Yahoo account is highlighted. Maybe we're not talking about the same thing. But to me the only difference between my screen shot and yours is that your highlighting is blue and mine is gray (because when I usedGrab to make a screen shot, Grab became the active window). Is there something else I could be doing to get the server attributes to show on that dialog box?
