Unable to Activate iphone 7

Hello.

My iPhone 7 cellular stopped working a few days ago and message said I needed to update to continue using data. It wouldn't let me update through my phone but was able to through iTunes. It worked...for day. Today I lost my data again. Phone system says I have the latest update. So I tried to see if it was the sim card. When I removed it from the phone it didn't recognize that it was out. Same when I put it back in. So I did a factory reset and now the screen says Unable to Activate. Just wondering if there is any advice or info on what it could be or what to do next.
