Apple Music Subscription, not syncing from iPhone to Mac

I am currently on a family sharing Apple Music subscription and when trying to turn on iCloud Music Library in iTunes, it is not showing up under general. I figured I need to sign into Apple Music on iTunes but how do I do that? I've been trying for a while and I just can't figure it out. Much help needed, thank you!

If you are a member in a Family Sharing group that has an Apple Music Family subscription, and you are not the organizer, then the subscription does not show on your account, but your Apple ID grants you access to Apple Music.

In iTunes Preferences, turn on Show Apple Music Features and iCloud Music Library.

Also log in to your account [Apple ID] in iTunes (menu Account﹥Sign In). If you are logged out in iTunes for whatever reason, then Apple Music and the iCloud Music Library are inaccessible.
