LAN connectivity problem

Hi!

I have a strange problem ever since I got the MacBook Pro w/TB (2017). I connect the LAN cable through a usb-c dongle (different dongles, same problem, so dongle is not the problem here) to the left two ports on my MacBook Pro w/TB (2017). For example, if I connect it in the morning, the LAN connection is established with no problem in a few seconds. Then I disconnect and when I plug the dongle back into the same usb-c port, it would not establish the connection any more. Sometimes this happens after two or three times of normal connection, but then, it would not connect any more. If I connect the dongle to the other usb-c port on the left, connection is made normally, but after some time, even that port would have the same problem and would not connect any more and I have to reset, sometimes I even have to make the PRAM reset, and then it goes round, pretty much the same.

I also noticed, if I connect a usb card reader/external disc, similar thing happens - either, it would not show the memory card/external disc connected or the transfer from the memory card would be painfully slow (it would not go above 40MB/s, like there is a limit). If I connect the memory card/external disc to any other usb-c port, it would copy files at normal speed.

Most of the time the problematic ports are the ones on the left side of the computer and the ones on the right side work normally pretty much all the time (even though there were same problems on right side to, but are really rare).

Anyone else with this kind of problem(s)?
