new macbook pro 2018 build quality issues

so I just returned my 4th almost maxed out macbook pro due to build quality. I do care about my things a lot and my laptops always last forever, I never scratch or damage them so they hold good resale value. But main thing is that I can’t use damaged product, even little tiny scratch bothers me, I may have a problem but thats how it is. And thats the reason why I keed buying apple products, usually they build quality is really good.

but this new macbook pro are honesty garbage.

Every single one had quality buid issues, one had bottom panel that was making cracking noise when you touch it, another one would make popping noise every few minutes due to defective hinge and another one bottom panes wasn’t lined up and had a few deep scratches from the box.

I callled apple and they offered me have it fix but I don’t wanna have my brand new $5k laptop opened up in first two weeks plus ij my experience genuise bar guys don’t care as much and always put some tiny scratches on my laptops and then claim is was there.

but I don’t see any alternatives, I keep buying those laptops but they all messed up.

is there a way to maybe have a special order one? that somehow makes sure its perfect?

I know most people wouldn’t care and probably won’t notice but thats how I am and I think thats premium laptops that cost premium should be build better.

they keep making everything thinner and thinner and loose they productivity and well as quality during process

shouldn’t be this way

I have the same issue.

This is my 4th 2018 13" laptop replacement. Still this has issues with the hinge (noise when opening and closing) and trackpad click is not right.

1st one had a scratch/patch next to the trackpad.

2nd and 3rd ones also had hinge noise.

I am not sure what to do. It is worse for me since I custom made a 16GB 13inch. So each replacement takes 2 weeks to come. Extremely frustrating experience.

If you want to provide feedback to Apple about the poor quality of their products you can use the link here: Product Feedback - Apple

Somehow I can't believe a $T company has a systemic problem with product quality.
