Unable to turn off two-factor authentication
Why can you longer disabled two-factor authentication? I am a parent and my child turned it on. Now I can longer disable it as I do not want him having it on.

You can't disable it if you enabled it more than two weeks ago, that was stopped a while ago. If you enable it within the last two weeks use the enrolment email that you got when you enabled it : Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support

If you want to, you can send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.
Two weeks. WOW. That is very generous of apple to determine how I need to run my account. Sorry, but that answer doesn't feed the bulldog. Apple really needs to revise this policy. Believe me, I do understand the need for added security, but there are times as a parent that this is simply in the way.
