I have downloaded and read several books on my ipad thru the kindle app. Now I want to transfer these books to a kindle so I can use my ipad for something else. How do I do this?
How did you download the books in the Kindle app ? If they are from Amazon they should show on your amazon account on the Kindle for redownloading on it.
You don't place these apps from the iPad - in fact the iPad is not involved at all. On your Kindle log into Amazon and download the books from there.

I downloaded these books onto my ipad using the kindle app from the app store. Now I want to place these books from my ipad into a kindle reader.
So what you are saying is that once I purchase the kindle, log into my amazon account and re-download the books from there?
