iPhone Problem

I'm accustomed to deleting icons on my phone's home screens by pressing them until they jiggle and show an X to delete them. That doesn't work anymore, so how do I delete an icon?

The new iPhone XS has 3D Touch - try applying less pressure, just a little bit and then it should pop up. 3D Touch recognizes how much force you put on the screen - therefore allowing for different things to activate. You’re pressing too hard, try to press softer.

Hope this helps!

Due to Apple's new 3D Touch technology a few things have changed. For example, deleting apps. I don't have the new iPhone myself, but from what I've heard you only need to press lightly, otherwise it won't enter that jiggle mode. Another option is to enter settings>general>iPhone storage>manage> tap the app you want to delete, this will bring up a page with the delete option at the bottom.
