I have a 2011 iMac which has Bluetooth 2.1. I just got a new keyboard that needs 4.0. I’m having trouble finding a dongle that works with Mac. Any help on how to get 4.0?

Okay...so...it's one of those neat keyboards....looks really good, feels and types nicely, and you don't want to return it. IOGEAR makes one that works with the Mac. But retail price on it was around $35. I had to buy one a while back (needed BT 3) . and yeah, I agree with you, finding a bluetooth dongle that works with mac for sure is a royal pain in the butt. 95% of them say "windows" no mention of Mac at all. I'm sure there is a way to get 'em working with Mac, but not much that comes to mind right now. Apparently the ASUS BT-400 works in sierra right out of the box.

thats all I got
