For Fall Detection to work on Apple Watch 4, do I have to buy GPS+Cellular in order for it to call Emergency Contact?

Emergency calls and fall detect alerts will work on the non cellular (gps only) model, but only when your iPhone is within Bluetooth range. If you want the watch to work standalone without the phone nearby you need the LTE model
