Yes, Anyview Cast appears to be an app on the smart TV, allowing mobile devices to wirelessly cast/mirror/send content to the television set. Unfortunately, this seems to work with (certain) Android devices only. You may or may not be able to find a third-party Mac or PC mirroring app that would allow a similar functionality from a computer to this type of smart TV.
Alternatively, you may want to take a closer look at Apple TV and AirPlay.

Otherwise, it may become necessary to use an HDMI cable connection via an appropriate adapter.

Exactly which Sharp smart TV model is it? Which MacBook Pro (model/year) do you have?

The Anycast was the "input" option on my Sharp TV input options menu.... not my laptop. My laptop is a MacBookAir 13.3/1.6GHZ/4GB/128GB; got it early in 2016.
I'm away from that home for a few weeks so cannot provide exact Sharp tv info, but it is a 55" model we bought Nov 2017.
Go to Sharp TV settings and enable the Anyview Cast
it should ask you for your WiFi name and password.
Once Connected go to your Mac WiFi and find it there.
