Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I’m having an issue with updating apps, when I go to update one, it tells me to put in a password for a different apple account that isn’t mine. I do not know the password to that account and the account it is asking for isn’t mine.

The account that shows for downloading the update will be the account that downloaded the app. To get the app linked to your account delete the app and buy and download it on your account
