iPhone 8+ camera quality.

When I open a camera application weather it be apples own or a third party like Instagram or snapchat.

The quality of the camera looks fine but once the shutter is pressed and I open the gallery to review the image it seems that the image is pixalited and somewhat grainy.

The best way for me to describe this is, if you go to google images and search something and then you click to open the image but it hasn’t fully loaded properly it appears bad quality. Then after a few moments it loads to full HD....... my camera doesn’t do the loading part xD

any help is much appreciated

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, Paulo!

I understand you've noticed the photos you've taken on your iPhone 8 Plus are low quality. I'd be happy to provide information that may guide you to a resolution.

First, restart your iPhone and make sure you have the latest updates installed:

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

After doing this, test out to see if the issue persists. If it does, follow these steps to troubleshoot the camera: If the camera on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working

I hope this helps you get your photos back to their original quality.

Have a great weekend!
