Using iTunes Store credit

Hi, I received a large amount of iTunes gift cards. Can I use the money to buy accessories for an iMac?

No, iTunes gift cards can only be used with your iTunes account (i.e. buying from iTunes, iTunes App Store, Bookstore, Mac App Store) they can't be used in Apple's shops nor their online store

Thank you. I’m really bummed as we redeemed $300 into my sons account only to find out that his “new” refurbished computer operating system does not support the software he wanted. That is so much money to have worked away by apps and music. Ugh.
