How do I find my Genius Bar Appointment

I had an appointment, went to the wrong location - called the Best Buy store where I should have gone instead of to the apple store in Rosedale Mall, MN - the person at Best Buy said that since I had missed my appointment, that I could not come in - however he would make an appointment for me for 8pm Friday 12/28 -- and that he woudl send me an email to confirm

never got the email and now the store is telling me that there is no appointment made - how could I have found this out sooner
