Adding urdu fonts on Mac
Hi,
I have just gotten Word on my mac and can type in urdu but do not like the font it uses. Does anyone know where/how to get a Nastaliq font and how to install it?

Run some web searxhes for Nastaliq font or similar search strings and find a font you like the look of, and whether a free offering or a commercial offering at a price you’re interested in, and then download the font, and then install the font into macOS.
PS Here is an example of Noto Nastaliq in Text Edit
My Word does not seem to recognize this font, so it may not be possible in that app. The Word clone LibreOffice does seem to work with it, however.
Apple provides a nastaliq font especially for urdu, called Noto Nastaliq Urdu. Is that the one you do not like.
Word support for arabic script can be sketchy. Try Pages or TextEdit too.
