Apple watch microphone after being in water problem

Hello. Ive bought an apple watch series 3 a couple of days ago. I tried to shower with them (with water lock turned on) and after i dried them, my microphone wasn't working as it is supposed to. Couple of minutes after i dried them, i said "Hey Siri" and she didn't respond, then i called someone and they told me that my mic is really quiet. After somewhere around 30 minutes or so of apple watch lying on the desk, the mic worked correctly again. I just want to make sure that it is normal, if not, correct me please.
