Any miss Cover Flow from either desktop or "browse file"?

As a designer 30 years. I used cover flow extensively to quickly browse through the thumbnails of files. The most convenient aspect of Cover Flow was the ability to LIST the files by date/name/etc.

Somewhere when I upgraded to Yosemite the Cover Flow within "Browse file" disappeared. Now with Mojave I don't see a way to use Cover Flow on the desktop.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Apple are you able to add this amazing feature back to the OS?
