IPhone Xs - Leather folio cases and magnets

How does the iphone-xs-leather-folio-forest-green work: does the phone get attached in the folio through a clip, OR through magnets in the folio ?
Are folios with magnets not bad for the iphone ? I heard statements from people saying

that the magnets can disturb certain functions, or that it can heat up the battery.

please advise so that i know which folio case to buy best. Apple should be able to advise on this.

The type of magnets that are in the case have no ill effect on the iPhone and will not heat up the battery. The iPhone "slips" into the case with a soft snap. One of the nice features of this case, is that you do not need to remove the credit cards you have in the case if you decide to place it on a wireless charger.

I would suggest you stop by a local Apple Store or Best Buy and try the case with your iPhone before deciding if it is a case that will fit your needs.
