PlayStation controller

Having problems connecting PlayStation three controller the Mac book Pro OS X Mohave it connects to Bluetooth but the lights flashing and it doesn't do anything when pressing the button

Maybe i can help you? First you have to reset the controller using a straightened paperclip. Then connect it with a mini usb cable. Now turn on bluetooth on your mac and press the PS button for a few seconds. You should see a red light on the controller blinking. Unplug the cable. Open up bluetooth setup assistant on the mac under bluetooth preferences. Click the + button to open it up. You should see a window asking for a passcode. Type in 0000 and click on Accept, you’ll also have to add it to favorites: from the bluetooth list in preferences,click on the ps3 controller item. Click on add to favorites then update services( the little gear icon). Now disable bluetooth wait a few seconds, enable bluetooth wait a few seconds and it should work. If not try this
